Wild Dogs

My last Africa post is about the Wild Dogs.  I had the most fun watching these animals.

 

When there are wild dogs, there is something happening.  They are curious, checking out a hippo.  The hippo is too big for them to take on.

 

They don't like hyenas.  The hyenas were trying to grab some of their leftover bones and the dogs were having none of it.  There was yowling, howling, snapping, and snarling and the hyenas finally left.

 

Even when we caught them resting, one or two were up and around trying to find something to get into.
