Baklava

We had another Baking Day and we baked Baklava.  It was much easier than I thought it would be.  Of course, I didn't do most of the work.  Eileen is brushing the phyllo sheets with melted butter, lots of butter.  This is not a low calorie treat.

 

We made a walnut cinnamon filling.  Yum.  This picture is after we poured honey syrup into the pan and we're waiting for the baklava to soak up all that sweetness.
