Embroidery Hearts

I had to take the Hearts off Lenni for an emergency quilting job. 

Clearly, not enough quilting here.  I am adding diagonal lines.

 

Clearly, I need to work out a better thread path so there are not so many stops and starts and my spacing is a little off.  So, what to do but bury those threads and add more lines.

My spacing is far from perfect, but the only way to get better is to keep working at it.
