I bought a kit for this beaded scarf at the Houston Quilt Festival in 2014.  I know, I know.  Why am I buying a knitting kit at a quilt show?  Well, it's alpaca.  That's why!

The hardest part of this scarf is getting the beads strung onto the yarn.

It takes a while.  I put a dab of glue on one of the ends of yarn, twirled it as tight as I could and let it dry.  It was sort of a needle and I threaded the beads on.

Here's what it looks like so far.

The kit is the Alpaca Beaded Scarf from the Bluebonnet Hills Alpaca Ranch.
