Brioche Scarves

Connie in Knitting

I've been knitting scarves, not that I'll be wearing them anytime soon.  Actually, this one is for David but someone had to wear the scarf and someone had to take the picture.  It's really hard to take a picture of yourself without a tripod and a timer.  I'm probably telling David how to take the picture.

The stitch is called the Brioche Stitch.  It makes a really fluffy scarf and it's quite easy once you get going. It's the getting going that causes me grief.   I got the yarn at a quilt show in Lancaster several years ago.  It is a blend of mohair, rayon, cotton, and wool.

I liked the yarn so much, I got it in a blue color as well.   This time I let the post wear the scarf.

Oh look, that's two projects from my Top 10 list that are done.
