More Blocks
Friday, April 8, 2011 at 6:45PM I've been working on a few more blocks in between David's knee surgery and recovery, house hunting, and just general running around. If you don't know, we are moving to Virginia. We don't have an exact date yet, but it will likely be before October. We're building a house on 10 acres. I'll be a mini farmer or something like that. Actually thinking about the yard and garden is pretty exciting. I downloaded a tomato app for my iPhone. (Nerdy, I know).
I was going to say that my newest blocks aren't nerdy, but I do hand piece them. Maybe that's more old fashioned than nerdy.
I've also ordered a few more fabrics to get this quilt finished up. It would have been enough for a 24 block quilt. But then, I picked up three more fabrics at the Quilt Show last weekend. I couldn't resist. Just wait til you see them.
27 blocks doesn't work so well unless you are long and really, really skinny. I guess I'm still shopping for fabrics.
