Home Cooking
I just finished reading "Home Cooking" by Laurie Colwin. Although it sounds like a cookbook and there are recipes in the book, it is not really a cookbook. Each chapter is an essay about an experience or memory of cooking. She has definite food opinions and writes about both the good and the bad, which I found quite refreshing. I really enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend reading it if you enjoy cooking.
Home Cooking: A Writer in the Kitchen by Laurie Colwin
The next book on my list is "A Breath of Snow and Ashes" by Diana Gabaldon from her "Outlander" series. It's a monster with 978 pages. I've read all the other books in the series, so I have to read this one too. Can't leave Claire and Jamie just hanging.
